“From Out Of The Black Sky” – download it from today!

Sorry for making you all wait so long, but today you can finally listen to a slice of brand-new Infadels. “From Out Of The Black Sky” features on the new Alex Metric album “Open Your Eyes”, a collection of remixes and productions put together by Alex himself.
You can download just the track or the whole album if you fancy (there’s some pretty amazing stuff on there) from iTunes, Amazon, Play and a few other places I’m sure. It’s even available on CD too (how about that).
Anyway, we all hope you enjoy the tune. Please feel free to give us you feedback on Twitter, Facebook and wherever else you think you can reach us (not MySpace though, I’ve forgotten the password).

Brand new Infadels to feature on the upcoming Alex Metric album

On the 22nd of August our friend and producer Alex Metric releases ‘Open Your Eyes’, an album of remixes and productions put together by the man himself. On it you will find a brand new track of ours called ‘From Out The Black Sky’ which Alex produced and previewed on his Radio 1 Essential Mix earlier this year.

The song, along with the whole album will be available to download from iTunes, Amazon, all the other usual places and no doubt on good ol’ CD too.

To whet your whistle and generally give you an idea of what is in store, here’s a little mini-mix video for you all to enjoy.

Enjoy!

Wag completes 500km bike ride to Paris!

Last Wednesday our resident bass playing Wookie, Wag set off on an epic cycling mission to Paris in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. Incredibly, he covered 500km in just 3 days, raising way over £2,500 in the process.

However, it not too late to pledge some cash to this very worthy cause.

Simply go to Wag’s Just Giving page, make the necessary clicks and recline with the warm feeling that today’s good deed is done.

WELL DONE WAG! X

‘Ghosts’ featured on Moda Vol. 1

We are rather chuffed and proud to have ‘Ghosts’ feature on the debut compilation from esteemed dance label Moda!

Moda is headed up by Radio 1 DJ’s Jaymo & Andy George, so if you are keen listeners of their Radio 1 show, you’ll know what to expect here.

If all this means very little then you would do well to tune into R1′s In New DJ’s We Trust Show (every first Thursday of the month at 21:00) to hear an hour of the latest greatest electro, disco and techno.

Not ‘arf.

You can download the album from either ITUNES, HMV or BEATPORT now!

New Infadels on the Radio 1 Essential Mix

Our friend and producer chum Alex Metric has made a rather fine Essential Mix for his old paymasters at Radio 1. We can’t recommend it enough, if dancing uncontrollably around your front room is your thing. Amongst this varied and brilliant brew you will find two of our new tracks taken fresh from our new album.

You can listen to the whole thing HERE but, for your convenience you will find the ‘KLF – Chill Out’ ambience of ‘Explain Nothing’ at 1:15:20 and our dark and disco-y number ‘Out Of The Black Sky’ at 1:52:13

In return, a picture of the Ultimate Warrior. Pic related.

Alex Metric ft Ian Brown – Open Your Eyes

Let’s have a special mention for a tune that’s taking over every dance floor from here to HR 2948. ‘Open Your Eyes’ is a co-lab between Alex Metric (he produced our new album), Steve Angello (the man behind some of the best dance tunes of 2010) and Ian Brown (who he?). What’s this got to do with Infadels you may ask? Well, not only will you find Bnann’s voice at the end of the track, but he also had his small part to play on songwriting duties too.

Obvious bias aside, the result is totally friggin’ awesome and I really do think you should head over to the Radio 1 website where you can listen again.

It’s out to download on May 1st.

Happy New Year! Now bring on 2011…

Hey all,

First off, we would like to say a very happy new year to all our friends out there (that means you buddy), and we hope 2010 was everything you wanted it to be, and that 2011 will be so much more.

On a slightly more personal note, we would also like to say a big thanks for sticking with us through, what ended up being a fairly quiet year in Infadel world, all things considered.

In spite of the apparent stillness on the water, I assure you we have been hard at work, mostly of the boring business side that I shall not burden you with here.

The point I’m trying to make is that in 2011 we will have much much more in store for you lovely people, so please check back in the new year when we will be able to tell you the full details of our cunning plan…

…but believe us when we say there will be much more to get excitied about in Infadel world next year than there has been in this one…

See you on the other side
